Is reading a book a luxury? Or is not reading one just an excuse? 영어 일기

One of my resolutions this year is to read books.
I managed to read quite a few books in the first half of the year,
but as the second half approached, it became harder to find time.
 

 
 

While I was reading a book,
I suddenly thought in my mind that I had to do this or that now.
Sometimes, while I was trying to read a book, I fell asleep without my recognition.
Reading a book is not a big deal but it's hard to do it if I was so tired.
 

I'm thinking that reading a book needs some time to spare.
If I was very hectic every day, it would be difficult to read a book peacefully.
Therefore, I might say reading a book is kind of a luxurious thing.

 

 
 

On the contrary, it's an excuse if not reading a book.
I could make some time for reading in any time.
I could read it in some lunch time or while using public transportation.
So, the most important thing is the passion to read it.
The reason that I didn't read books might be weak passion for reading.
