One of things that I dislike for Korean is not punctual.

For example,

if I would ask the time when you arrive,

usually they would say that they almost arrive.

So, I ask again, 10 min? 20 min?

They say it will be about 10 min.

But they would arrive in 30 min or something.

I think they arrive in 10 min and so I wait outside for 10 min.

At that time I cannot do anything.

Just wait.

At first if they say 30 min or 40 min,

I would go to a coffee shop and wait for them.

In the coffee shop I can do something valuable.

I'm not talk about the delay.

Of course, I'm upset for the delay.

But the most upsetting thing is that I waste my precious time.

Before, I worked for the foreign company.

The most different thing between Korean company and foreign company is to keep punctual.

If I asked one of Korean subcontracted companies about the delivery time of some products,

they always say that they can keep the deadline even if it looks very hard to keep the deadline.

Finally, they didn't keep the deadline.

It caused big problem to me and my buyer.

Because they didn't keep the production on time,

all the delivery dates to my customers

and the customer's production line could be impacted in large and very big damaged.

I understand Korean style.

They want to do their best and keep the deadline.

But the important thing is the result, not their willing or passion in business.
