불청객인 바퀴벌레가 하나씩 나타나기 시작하는데요.

이 반갑지 않은 바퀴벌레를 영어로는 어떻게 말을 하면 될까요?

 

 

바퀴벌레는 영어로 cockroach입니다.

​

케임브리지 영영 사전의 정의는 다음과 같습니다.

​

cockroach :

a flat, brown or black insect sometimes found in the home

납작하고 갈색 또는 검은색의 가끔씩 집에서 발견되는 곤충

​

아래 사진만 봐도 괜스레 기분이 안 좋네요. ㅠㅠ

 

 

해외여행을 가서 숙소나 식당 등에서 바퀴벌레가 나왔을 때

영어 단어를 알고 있으면 불만 접수할 때 효과적일 수 있을 것 같습니다.

English Diary Jun. 9th / a cockroach found

​

Today I found a cockroach in my house.

I was very shocked and scared.

It's very terrible to see it.

Even though I'm scared of it, I can kill it well.

It's because I keep tracking it until I kill it.

​

The cockroach that I found was a baby cockroach.

It's pretty small.

I thought there could be a mom cockroach somewhere.

Maybe there were many brothers and siblings.

When I thought about it, it's more terrible.

​

I ordered a insecticide for a cockroach.

I will do my best to protect my house from cockroaches.

And I make my house safe and clean.
